About the Teacher
Robin Young is a passionate teacher with a Master of Arts in Education from Concordia University, Irvine, California. She became interested in Art during her studies abroad, and for the past 17 years has taught pottery and drawing and painting courses to hundreds of students using unique and effective methods.
After teaching in schools for several years, she currently enjoys teaching small groups and private classes to homeschoolers in her garage studio. She has exhibited and sold her art at the Sawdust Winter Art Festival in Laguna Beach as well as other art venues.
Miss Robin has two creative daughters, Lauren, a film and media producer, and Melissa, a director at a local museum. She resides in Laguna Niguel with her mom, Barbara, her Aunt Sue who is battling Alzheimers, and their Bichon rescue dog, Tucker.
Miss Robin feels blessed to do what she loves for a living, and she hopes to inspire others to explore their own artistic abilities and creativity. She believes art is a gift from God that brings satisfaction, joy, and calmness in life. Art makes life better
