About the Teacher
Robin Young is a certified teacher with a Master of Arts in Education from Concordia University, Irvine, CA. By using her passion for teaching, her goal is to encourage creativity and to instill a love for art in all people, especially in children. Robin has 10 years of experience teaching pottery, drawing, painting, and other mixed mediums in public, private, and charter schools, as well as at her home studio in Laguna Niguel, Orange County.
Several years ago, Robin had the privilege of studying Art History in London, England. She also recently spent a month in Florence exploring museums and Renaissance art galleries learning about the inspirational master artists of Italy.
Many parents have expressed joy in observing the positive impact Robin's classes have had on the development of their child. Research has shown that art education helps build critical thinking skills, promotes innovation, and provides a positive outlet for self-expression. Art is therapeutic, builds self-esteem, relieves anxiety, and contributes to a more productive and peaceful life.
Art makes a difference.
